Hello, once again, wonderful Kickstarter Backers!

Welcome to our newest monthly update where we update you on all things Dreambound. As always, these will come out every month on the 6th (AEST).

I hope you all had a great April - and if you celebrate Easter, ate lots of chocolate too. I was in Japan for the month of April, but still made a little time to write for our games while away.

Lets jump into a quick update on our progress:

Art

We're still working through the Ivan route CGs! We have around three left until they're all complete, and we move on to Kaine's route.

Here's a preview of a WIP CG from his route. Tensions run a little high during scenes with Ivan.

Our background artist has also been working on a few additional backgrounds for the game.  There's not too many left now!

Writing & Editing

Currently, we're working on going over Crow's bad ending. We plan each route in Dreambound to have three endings - bad, neutral and good. We want each to feel like a complete storyline, so we're taking our time going over them!

We're pretty much at the point to move on to working on Ivan's route full time, once we clean up the last remaining endings!

Dreambound Beta

The very first Dreambound Beta came a little while ago. Everyone on the correct tier can access the game now to play!

You should have received an email from BackerKit with a link to download it from itch.io.

If you didn't sign up to the beta tier but would like to play (and get lots of other goodies!) you can check out our Patreon here. The Solaris tier gets access to this beta, plus the beta for the full version of another one of our games, The Divine Speaker: The Sun and the Moon, as well as Patreon exclusive DLC/afterstories, exclusive art, and more!

Other News

In the other news section, we'll update you a little on our other projects and general business of Two and a Half Studios.

The Divine Speaker: The Sun and the Moon

We had a small delay waiting on the trailer to be complete for The Divine Speaker: The Sun and the Moon, as well as the final CGs, however we are now on track to launch this game this month!

A lot of my time is currently taken up with the final tests for this game, so we're looking forward to it being complete and released to the world.

Unlike Dreambound, The Divine Speaker: The Sun and the Moon features a couple of R18+ scenes, too.

A Date with Death

A Date with Death is our upcoming chatsim style visual novel that we plan to have as our "short game" once The Divine Speaker: The Sun and the Moon is complete.

Currently, the create your own character assets are being worked on. In this game, the protagonist will be completely custom, from their name, pronouns to their appearance. We love the idea of a fully custom character sprite, so it was the first thing we decided on with this project.

Here's a little clip of the room creation feature that sets the tone of the project.
